Tired of Finishing Your Case Notes Late into the Night?

I hear waaaaay too often about psychologists in private practice who write their case notes in the evening when they get home, all through their lunch breaks or even setting aside a whole day to write notes.

Eeek.

This is a steady and unnecessary road to burnout.

One of the very necessary keys to coping in private practice and helping more clients, is learning to write efficiently.

In private practice, you don’t have the luxury to write long notes.

I'm a firm believer in helping as many people as possible. Unnecessary bureaucratic processes often exist in government organisations or NGOs and frankly, our community doesn't benefit from excessive documentation time.

Our world needs more psychologists on the ground, helping more people. And taking control of your administration time, is one of the keys to maintain better boundaries for your own mental health and helping more clients.
