Your clinician will be with you at the time of your appointment. They will likely still be in session with client prior to you, if you don't see anyone around!

NOTE: Please don't arrive too early! Due to the COVID19 Pandemic, we would like ensure that there are a limited amount of people in the waiting area at one time.

Please also inform reception if you have not been vaccinated against Covid-19 as you will be only able to access telehealth appointments from the 15th December 2021.

What happens if I cancel my appointment?

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will incur half of the standard fee unless the appointment is able to be filled by clients on our waitlists. This is $105 for Clinical Psychologists and $90 for Registered Psychologists

  • Any non-attendance without notice or cancellation at the time of appointment will incur a full-sessional fee of $210 or $170.00

What are your fees and do I get a Medicare Rebate?

Payments & Fee Structure

  • Session fee - $230 (Clinical director fee for Sarah Purvey) $210 (Clinical Psychologist) $170 (Registered)

  • If you have been provided with a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP you will be entitled to a Medicare rebate which will be $128.40 for Clinical Psychologists and $87.45 for Registered Psychologists. This means the out of pocket amount will be reduced.

  • If you are concerned about the payment or are experiencing financial hardship please discuss these concerns with your clinician as they may be able to provide assistance.

  • In line with Medicare requirements, clients referred via Mental Health Care Plans are required to pay the full session fee at the time of the first session and then the Medicare rebate will be processed straight after this.

  • If the Medicare rebate is not applicable but you have private health cover, check with your provider as you may be entitled for a rebate through them. We can provide you with an invoice to present to your private health provider once payment has been processed.

  • Due to high demand, appointments scheduled from 4pm will incur an additional $10 fee and Saturday appointments incur an additional $20 out of pocket.

What do I bring?

  •  Your mental health care plan or ensure that reception at  the GP has sent us a copy

  •  Medicare Card and Savings Card (so we can give you an immediate rebate)
